Hi everyone! We are IPs in Nebraska looking for a surrogate to start our journey this Spring.
My husband and I have been together 6 years now and have been on a fertility journey 5 of those years. If nothing else, we are persistent lol.
We originally went the gestational carrier route and spent almost $60k and ended up with nothing but heartbreak, well we did end up having a great lawyer on retainer so that's a silver lining. I've since gone through multiple surgeries and a miscarriage this March due to my medical issues - at this point we are thinking traditional surrogacy is the way to go.
This is both of our second chance marriage and this would be our only child together. We both have older children-but would love to raise one together.
We are down to earth, open minded, educated, and love traveling. Family is everything to us. We both are stable emotionally and financially and would like the relationship to be more than transactional. I don't expect anyone to do this for free, but I think it's a beautiful special thing and I'd like ideally for us to be friends :.
Ideally, this person would have surrogate friendly insurance and a good support system in place, as we understand no matter how well everything goes, it's an emotional and sometimes stressful process.
